En cambio, las mujeres son expuestas, ridiculizadas y sancionadas con rapidez, como si la vara de la moral pública se aplicara con rigor selectivo. Esa desigualdad no es casual: responde a una cultura política que sigue reproduciendo el machismo y la misoginia como herramientas de disciplinamiento.
La vulgaridad presidencial hacia las mujeres no es un exabrupto aislado, sino un síntoma de una personalidad repudiable y de un cinismo inigualable. Se trata de un mensaje que legitima la violencia simbólica y refuerza la idea de que las mujeres deben ser controladas, mientras los hombres pueden ser perdonados, incluso cuando roban, mienten o defraudan al Estado.
La Argentina no puede naturalizar esta lógica perversa. La democracia exige igualdad de trato, transparencia y respeto. Mientras se sostenga la impunidad masculina y se castigue con saña a las mujeres, estaremos frente a un poder que no solo es corrupto, sino también profundamente misógino. Y esa es una herida que atraviesa a toda la sociedad.
Es momento de que la ciudadanía levante la voz y repudie esta doble vara. No se trata solo de defender a las mujeres agredidas, sino de defender la dignidad democrática frente a un poder que se ha vuelto vulgar, cínico y desigual. La sociedad debe exigir sanciones políticas inmediatas y un cambio cultural profundo: basta de impunidad para los hombres, basta de castigos selectivos para las mujeres.

It is time for citizens to raise their voices and denounce this double standard. It is not only about defending the women who are attacked, but about defending democratic dignity against a power that has become vulgar, cynical, and unequal.
